As I mentioned in my previous post, our 2-min film project revolves around the theme of inequality, domestic violence and cultural pressure on women. Our story idea, titled "SILENT SCARS" aims to bring attention to the harsh realities faced by many women in our society.
Plot summary (story):
The story revolves around a young girl who suffers mental torture and inequality by the hands of her parents, who then force her into an arranged marriage. As she navigates her new life, she faces abuse from her husband, but her parents turn a blind eye, believing it to be a normal aspect of married life. And there will be a plot twist or more like a cliffhanger at the end.
As we continue to work on the project, we may make some changes to the storyline. We are excited to bring this important social issue to life on screen and look forward to sharing our final project with you.
