Unfortunately, one of our cast members (Hussain Rizvi) who was going to play the father of FML had to leave the country for personal reasons and won't be back anytime soon. We were left with no choice but to write him out of the script, which meant killing off his character. This change had a ripple effect, and we realised we couldn't find a replacement at such short notice. As we revised the script, we noticed even more issues and inconsistencies that we weren't happy with. Our initial idea seemed far-fetched and unrealistic, and when we visualized it on film, it felt dull. We decided to brainstorm and came up with new ideas.
