☆Tournament Coverage☆

In preparation for our film project, I practiced my cinematography skills by creating promotional videos for our school's upcoming tournaments and aliza our producer helped me alot with it. This experience helped me refine my techniques before filming begins. The videos:

☆3rd Location☆

For a key scene in our film, we needed a restaurant setting where two families gather. After evaluating four potential locations, we chose SOHO due to its compatibility with our film's aesthetic and mood. We chose SOHO over Goloria jeans, Nando,s and Roundabout. Gloria jeans was too small with limited hours. As for Nando's their reservation process was very slow, and it's family friendly atmosphere didn't fit our proposal scene. And Roundabout felt like a fast food place, which obviously wasn't suitable.

☆Husband Found☆

We are happy to announce that we have finally found an individual to play the husband role in our 2-minute film project. We appreciate his participation and welcome him to our team. Salman şunavbarov

☆2nd Location☆

We have confirmed the psychiatrist's office location for our final scene shoot. To ensure an accurate representation, we will carefully adjust lighting and camera angles to replicate the ambiance and aesthetic of a psychiatrist's office.

☆1st Location☆

We have identified the filming location for the MC's house, which will represent her childhood house or family residence.                              MC's Bedroom                                     Kitchen

☆Location Hunting☆

We are seeking restaurants or cafes as potential filming locations. Our film features a scene where two families meet, and we need a suitable setting. To find the ideal location, we conducted a search to identify the best options. We have shortlisted four locations and will choose the one that best fits our film's aesthetic.                               1. ROUNDABOUT                             2. GLORIA JEANS   3. SOHO                                                                 4. NANDO'S

☆Personal Update☆

I wanted to take a moment to apologise for the irregular posting schedule lately. So, I went traveling to another city for an important commitment, and it's been challenging to keep up with my usual routine. Now that I'm back, I'm trying to catch up with my team, which is why you may have noticed a surge of 2-3 posts per day. Don't worry! This is just a temporary burst to get back on track! From next week, expect a return to our regular posting schedule. Thankyou for your understanding and patience. I'm excited to share new content and engage with you all once again.

☆Color Psychology☆

Colors hold the power to shape our emotions and perceptions. By understanding how colors interact with our minds, experts can create targeted effects. From marketing to therapy, color theory is a valuable tool. In our film, we'll strategically use colors to bring our characters feelings to life and connect with viewers on a deeper level.  Grey represents equilibrium, elegance and moderation, yet can also convey emotional distance and reserve. This versatile hue creates a calm, understated environment.  Black is a strong color. It can also feel mysterious or overwhelming. However, black helps other colors shine and adds seriousness. It symbolises class, power and creates a bold and striking effect. Dull yellow is a special color. It can mean caution, sickness, or disappointment. But it also represents warmth, hope and wisdom. In some cultures, dull yellow symbolises royalty or knowledge. This color can make people feel unhappy, frustrated or bored. It's like a mixed feel...

☆Production meet☆

Today we went to our editor's house to take photos of the film cast for use in our project. This opportunity allowed me to practice photography skills. The session went pretty well, and we built a rapport that will aid our teamwork on the film.  Take a glimpse at our behind-the-scenes experience.  Our director, Mahira, is applying makeup to one of our cast members, showcasing her additional role as makeup artist. Stay tuned for more updates!!

☆Camera Clicks(B&W)☆

I Captured black and white images with my camera, following our sir's instructions. This assignment is designed to improve our photography skills.

☆Updated Storyboard☆

We have completed our final storyboard, which was developed jointly by our director and sound editor. Hopefully, no further revisions will be required.

☆Production Begins☆

After revising our script and narration, we obviously had to create a new storyboard and even had to record the voiceover for our film. To accomplish this, our team met at our editor, Mishel Ali Kemal's house to work on the necessary updates.  Our director developed the storyboard, scripting each scene.  Subsequently, our sound editor visually illustrated the storyboard, bringing the scenes to life through detailed drawings. My teammates assigned me the task of recording the narrations. They provided me guidance throughout the recording process, offering feedback on my tone and emotional expression. Ultimately, they were pleased with the outcome, particularly the quality of my voice. We successfully completed the voiceover recordings.

☆Cast Departure☆

Due to unforeseen circumstances (that we wish we knew!!), Mustafa Jamal can no longer play the husband's role. Despite numerous attempts to contact him, Mustafa has been unresponsive. His lack of communication and absence from college have led us to conclude that he's no longer committed to the project. As a result we've made the decision to replace him. We're now seeking a talented individual to fill the role of the husband and bring our story to life.
